The FabScanPi ready-to-use sd-card image is the best way to get started with the FabScan software. Just flash it to an sd-card and insert the card to your Raspberry Pi. The software automatically starts after the pi is up and running. You should read the first steps section of the documentation.
It is recommended to use the latest sd-card image. But anyway in case you will need a previous version of the sd-card image, you will find it at the projects release page on Github.

This download contains the latest deb package for the Raspbian operating system. It can be used for installing the FabScanPi-Server application in a plain environment. Keep in mind that there are additional configurations needed to get the FabScanPi-Server up and running like in the ready-to-use image. You can find more information about installing from deb package in the documentation.
You need to build a calibration tool for calibrating your system. The calibration tool consists of a printed piece of paper with a checkerboard pattern. Download the PDF file below and print it with your printer. Afterwards glue it on some cardboard. You can build a mounting foot part by yourself or you can just print the STL part on your 3D-Printer. Read the calibration documentation for further information.
