[Solved] Does the Raspberry Pi NoIR camera module work?

There’s no advantage in using the NoIR cam. The algorithms for the laser detection are made for the normal cam. Therefore we recommend to use the normal camera modules. 

Both the v1 and v2 work. But keep in mind that you need to change the resolution in the fabscanpi default config file when you are using the Raspberry Pi camera module v1.
