Many people asked for an instruction on how to assemble the current version of laser mount. The laser mount in older versions of the FabScanPi kit were mounted on a servo. This servo was never supported by the software.
So we decided to switch to a simpler more robust wooden laser mount. It consists of two parts and only needs to be put together. Here are some pictures on how to put it together.
Finally the laser can be mounted on top by using two zip ties.
