So it seams the Hat is not on the specified port. I have tried to specify the ACM0 in the config file but does not work neither.

Can you help me on this pls?

Thanks

You are right this looks like a connection error. Have you tried to use a previous version of the FabScanPi software since you have purchased the kit?

There was a bug in one of the previous versions which flashed the HAT firmware in a wrong way. You can fix that by writing a new firmware to the HAT. Follow one of the instructions behind this link:

https://learn.watterott.com/hats/rpi-uno-hat/bootloader/

( It is a more general description how to do it. I will add a more specific FabScan way to the F.A.Q during the nexts days.)

There are other people facing to the  same issue.

Hi @mario,

I have the same configuration, image version and fabscanpi.log as @CheSeb. I have tried (last week) to flash the bootloader to the HAT using the raspberry pi and then an Arduino Uno, without success. I am also interrested  to see a specific Fabscan way to flash added to the faq.

Thanks

Léon

Hi @mario,

Thanks for your quick answer, I appreciate this. I actually just received my kit few days ago so I only tried the latest version (v.2019-11-08-22-00)

It would be amazing to have the fabscan way to write the new firmware to the HAT as you proposed. I unfortunately don't know enough of this system to be able to modify it myself from the generic link you gave me. I tried but I think I'm missing some specific parameter, config, ect...

Thanks for your support, I can't wait to play with this beauty of a scan and learn more on how it works!

CheSeb

I have added a new topic to the hardware F.A.Q. I hope this helps you.

https://fabscan.org/community/f-a-q/no-fabscanpi-hat-or-compatible-device-found/

If it works, please prevent this issue by using the new image version. Because 0.7.0 can cause this issue.
