if I scanned a part and did not download it immediately, it will not be opened again. Contact with the RPI stops and the RPI crashes. Anyone else having a problem with the new release? What can you do? I also can not download the logfile. Do not get access. Even the home folder with the saved scans is taboo. I have only reading rights.

Reading permissions should be enough for downloading and browsing the files in the filesystem. It should be possible to download the files with reading permissions only. However it sounds like a bug. I will have a closer look to it in the upcoming days. Until it is solved you can try to do
sudo chmod 777 /home/pi/scans
