Is it a good idea to paint all walls black on the inside except a 1cm area around the laserprojection?
What do I need to care for?

Hello Micha,
yes this can help. But beware of Reflections. You need a Paint which does not reflect so much. I have a spray can with Black Paint - this is ok on wood. But a viscous paint for painting with a brush often gets a reflective surface. even if its mat.
