after soldering the parts shipped by Watterott in their kit, my mind started to fly through the dream of buying a pre-soldered kit :)
Is there the possibility to ask Watterott to provide a kit already pre-soldered?

you can write to the support. Maybe you will get an answer. I did not receive any. The only thing that can be ordered pre-soldered is the driver (SilentStepStick) for the stepper motor

of course. We are thinking about a new version of the HAT, which will be pre soldered and it should come with some nice connectors for an easier assembly. Also the step down unit needs to be refactored, because the newer Raspberry Pi 3 B+ models are not compatible with the current step down part, due to the power consumption. But a am not able to give you a release date by now. First wee need to collect all the requirements and changes for the new board.
