I'm brand new to this, so forgive me if this question has been answered before.
According to the watterott site, the RPi HAT is currently not available. Unfortunately, there's also no indication when it might again become available.
In search of alternatives (because I'd really like to try this out :-)), I've spent quite some time searching the internet and this forum. I managed to find a suggestion that it is indeed possible via instructables, and this topic. Unfortunately as a newb I was unable to conclude what it would actually take e.g. purchasing an Arduino + FabScan shield, and then everything auto-magically works ... or as a minimum a bunch of software changes are also required. From the hardware perspective, I couldn't see where the Pi camera's ring light would connect (just as an example).
Does any documentation exist that could help explain this?
